My involvement extends from pre-sales through discovery and into delivery. In the earlier phases I operate in a largely consultative role, spending time with stakeholders across the business, from engineers and product managers through to those accountable for the commercial outcome, with the aim of keeping technical direction aligned to what the organization is trying to achieve. I help achieve alignment in the discovery phase by contributing documentation and detailed artifacts: mapping the current and intended future-state architecture, cataloging the integrations involved, and producing guidance a delivery team can work against, such as gap analyses, target-state diagrams, and API specifications. Throughout delivery, I provide engineers with a clearly documented target state and stay closely engaged with the build, helping to work through the design decisions that arise along the way.

My client work spans a broad range of verticals, among them industrial, luxury, fashion, food, and supplements, and businesses of widely varying size. The majority of my recent engagements have been at enterprise scale, where the architecture, the integration landscape, and the number of stakeholders requiring alignment all increase together, and where careful work in the earlier phases tends to have the greatest bearing on the outcome.
